We were looking for help flying three large dogs to Ireland. Mattan’s website on Google was the most helpful site, unlike the other sites we checked that did not provide practical information. We contacted several consultants, and Mattan was the first (and only) one who responded quickly and already in the first correspondence provided important information even before we had officially engaged with him. Mattan was available for many months and always, always, got back to us immediately with answers. He handled all the bureaucracy, translated all the required documents, and explained in detail and clearly what needed to be done. Our case was complicated due to the security situation, flight cancellations, time pressure, and the fact that we had to send three large dogs simultaneously with no direct flights to the destination. For months, Mattan did everything possible to ease things for us and planned a complex journey that included flights, boarding, sea transport – all so the dogs could stay together and arrive to us safely. Unfortunately, our older dog’s condition deteriorated a few weeks before the flight, and at the last moment we decided not to fly him; he passed away at home just minutes after Mattan took the other two dogs. Mattan accompanied us throughout the entire journey, updated us on their condition, and sent photos. In light of the exhausting journey the dogs went through, Mattan came to Ireland to personally bring the dogs to us. The dogs arrived healthy and safe, clean, and in good spirits. We made Aliyah at the worst time. With the Houthi’s and Iran. We started the process with Mattan back in march as we have a dangerous breed who is also my PTSD service dog. The day we got granted the import permit from the Israeli government was the day Lufthansa stopped flying. Which was the only commercial airline flying dangerous breeds to Israel. We left America with putting our dog into a boarding facility with uncertainty of when he would be able to come. Mattan worked tirelessly to find options. Thank god and Mattan for finding the only other airline that was willing to transport him. We had a flight booked with a freight company and then Iran happened. Mattan made sure to find a company to transport our dog to JFK that was extremely professional and oversaw the whole process. His customer service is second to none. He understood my dilemma with PTSD episodes and didn’t give up on exploring options. Our boy came in yesterday. Mattan was there to see the final phases through and stepped me through municipality and government requirements. For me to say I love Mattan is an understatement he helped me get my dog here so I could cope with PTSD symptoms. I recommend anyone from abroad to hire him with any pet transport.
